Saul A. Wolfe
Saul Wolfe has devoted his practice to real property tax appeals and condemnation for more than forty years, achieving tens of millions of dollars in property tax savings for his taxpayer clients and representing more than sixty municipalities in defense of many of the most complex cases in the state including refineries, casinos, and automobile assembly plants. As attorney for condemnees, he has obtained many millions of dollars in excess of the taking entities’ appraised values, and he has represented condemnors in such unique matters as acquiring privately owned beaches for the City of Cape May. He serves as property tax counsel to the NJ State League of Municipalities and is a former Tax Assessor of the City of Newark and former counsel to the Association of Municipal Assessors of New Jersey and the NJ Conference of Mayors. A former President of the NJ State Bar Association, he was honored in 2003 by the New Jersey State Bar Foundation with its Medal of Honor for his significant contribution toward improving our New Jersey justice system.
