Thomas W. Dunn

Thomas W. (Tom) Dunn is a Senior Trustee and retired counsel to the firm of Beattie Padovano in Montvale. He began practice in 1966 and enjoyed representing many local government entities including governing bodies, planning boards, boards of adjustment, library boards, boards of education and redevelopment agencies. In the private sphere, his primary interests were in commercial real estate and appellate practice. He has argued cases before the New Jersey Supreme Court, the Appellate Division and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He developed, and continues to teach, the course in Local Land and Buildings Law in the NJILGA sponsored ICLE program leading to a Diplomate in Local Government Law. Although retired, he is the Editor of the Local Government Law Review of NJILGA and serves on the Amicus Committee.
